Ruben Sioxson brings an extensive background in competitive volleyball and coaching expertise to every team he works with. A seasoned athlete and mentor, Ruben’s career highlights include competing as a versatile player in positions such as outside hitter, setter, libero, and middle blocker, and coaching championship-winning teams at the high school and club levels.

    •    1996-1998: Outside Hitter/Setter at City Beach
    •    1999-2000: Libero, Defensive Specialist, Outside Hitter for CSU Sacramento Men’s Volleyball Club
    •    2001-2002: Outside Hitter, Setter, and Middle Blocker at City Beach

Coaching Career:
    •    2003-2005: Varsity Assistant Coach and JV Head Coach, Amador Buffaloes High School Girls Volleyball
    •    2006-2007: Volleyball Camp Coach, CSU Humboldt Girls Volleyball Camp
    •    2004-2014: Assistant Coach, Delta Valley Volleyball Club, working alongside respected coaches Don Shannon, Brian Contreras, and Richard Chan
    •    2023-Present: Assistant Coach, Pleasant Grove High School Boys Varsity Volleyball
